Corrections to Community Support Services Brisbane
Brisbane-based C2C Support Services is dedicated to helping reduce the risk of re-offending within Southeast Queensland. C2C addresses community safety through targeted addiction treatment that provides individualised services to people during their period of incarceration and post-release into the community.
Research confirms that individuals who have safe therapeutic support, have a significantly reduced risk of re-offending (Cunnington, 2020; Latessa, Johnson & Koetzle, 2020). Our mission is to work with individuals to achieve positive long-term outcomes for them, their family/friends and the broader community.
Only 1 in 10 people with addiction receive treatment. For individuals in the criminal justice system, there are additional challenges to accessing support.
